One Health Resources (OHR) Community Guidelines
At One Health Resources (OHR), our mission is to build a collaborative, inclusive, and impactful global community of professionals, researchers, students, and enthusiasts across the One Health spectrum. These Community Guidelines are here to help ensure that everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected while engaging on our platform.
By using the OHR platform, you agree to follow these guidelines. We reserve the right to moderate, remove, or restrict access for users who violate them.
Be Respectful and Inclusive
These include the following in words, text, and conduct:
- Treat all members with kindness, dignity, and respect.
- Avoid hate speech, discriminatory language, or personal attacks based on race, gender, nationality, religion, profession, experience level, or other identity markers.
- Respect diverse perspectives and constructive disagreement.
Stay Professional and Constructive

- Maintain a professional tone in discussions and comments.
- Share opinions and feedback constructively.
- Keep conversations focused on One Health topics (and its thematic areas) and avoid off-topic or inflammatory content.
Share Responsibly and Accurately
These include the following in words, text, and conduct:
- Share credible and verified information.
- If you cite research or resources, include sources or links when possible.
- Do not post misleading content, conspiracy theories, or unsubstantiated claims.
Protect Privacy and Confidentiality
These include the following in words, text, and conduct:
- Do not post personal, sensitive, or confidential information about yourself or others.
- Respect the intellectual property of others and do not share copyrighted material without permission.
No Spam, Advertising, or Self-Promotion
These include the following in words, text, and conduct:
- Do not post repetitive or promotional content.
- You may share opportunities, events, or resources if they are relevant and beneficial to the community.
- Use designated spaces or get permission before promoting services, fundraising, or products.
Participate Authentically
These include the following in words, text, and conduct:
- Use your real name or professional identity.
- Represent your qualifications honestly.
- Don’t impersonate others or misrepresent your role.
Collaborate Thoughtfully
These include the following in words, text, and conduct:
- Foster a spirit of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
- Be open to feedback and diverse perspectives.
- Credit others’ ideas and contributions where due.
Report and Support
If you see a post or behavior that violates these guidelines, report it through the platform’s reporting feature or contact us immediately. Support your fellow members in creating a positive and engaging community.
Consequences of Violating Guidelines
Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent banning from the platform, depending on the severity and recurrence of the offense.

These guidelines may evolve as the community grows. Significant changes will be communicated via the platform.
